Knit For Life is delighted and excited to announce Ronni Kahn of Oz Harvest as Ambassador for our charity. Ronni is a committed social entrepreneur and the founder of food rescue charity Oz Harvest. The recipient of numerous awards recognising her as a leader in social impact, entrepreneurship and her innovative approach to community and social development, Knit For Life is thrilled to work with Ronni on growing and developing our charity which is committed to the economic development and empowerment of women in rural Zimbabwe. OUR MISSION
Knit For Life’s mission is to empower a community of artisan hand knitters in rural Zimbabwe through the dignity of sustainable work. Committed to principles of community development, Knit for Life is a partnership project between the Chatsworth knitters in Zimbabwe and the Knit for Life community in Australia. Knit for Life aims to enable the knitters to support their families with pride, to educate their children and to contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of their community.
